Patient is diagnosed on the basis of Stokes-Adams syndrome as explained bellow and since time since fainting was specified biological death can't be confirmed.
Stokes–Adams syndrome is a periodic fainting spell in which there is a periodic onset and offset of blockage of heart due to disorder of heart rhythm that may last for seconds, hours, days, or even weeks before the conduction returns.
Typically an attack occurs without warning, leading to sudden loss of consciousness. Prior to an attack, a patient may be pale with hypoperfusion.
Normal periods of unconsciousness last approximately thirty seconds Clinical death is not necessarily permanent. An individual's brain can stay alive for about 4-6 minutes after breathing and heartbeat have stopped. If more than 4-6 minutes elapse, however, the individual will most likely experience permanent and irreversible brain damage or Biological Death.
